所有聊天记录在存储时经过加密保护，传输过程中也受到保护。我们采用行业标准的安全措施来确保你的数据安全。
4. 私密模式与阅后即焚
私密模式：开启后，Echo 不会记住该次对话的内容。原始对话文本可被一键清除，但从中提取的用户理解维度（沟通风格、情绪模式等）会保留——这样 Echo 依然"认识"你，但不会回忆具体说过什么。
5. 数据保留与删除
- 聊天记录：保留至用户主动删除或注销账户
- 私密消息：可通过"阅后即焚"功能手动清除
- 账户注销：侧边栏点击"删除账号"，所有数据永久删除，不可恢复
- 数据导出：你可以在设置中导出你的全部数据
6. GDPR 合规
如果你位于欧洲经济区（EEA），你享有以下权利：
- 知情权：本政策已告知你数据处理方式
- 访问权：你可以随时导出你的数据
- 删除权：你可以随时删除账号
- 数据可携带权：导出功能符合此要求

1. What We Collect
Echo collects the following data to provide our service:
- Account Info: Username, encrypted password, optional email/birth year/gender
- Chat Records: All conversations between you and Echo (encrypted at rest)
- Usage Patterns: Chat time, response pace, communication style statistics
- Payment Info: Processed by Stripe. Echo does not store credit card details.

- Provide and improve the emotional companion service
- Build user profiles for personalized responses
- Manage subscriptions and billing
- Product improvement and analytics (anonymized)
3. Data Protection
All chat records are encrypted at rest and protected during transmission. We follow industry-standard security practices to keep your data safe.
4. Privacy Mode & Burn After Reading
Privacy Mode: When enabled, Echo will not remember that conversation. The original chat text can be permanently erased, while user understanding dimensions (communication style, emotional patterns, etc.) are retained — so Echo still "knows" you without recalling specific conversations.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
- Chat Records: Retained until you delete them or close your account
- Private Messages: Can be manually cleared via "Burn After Reading"
- Account Deletion: Click "Delete Account" in the sidebar. All data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
- Data Export: You can export all your data from the sidebar menu.
6. GDPR Compliance
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:
- Right to be informed: This policy explains how we handle your data
- Right to access: You can export your data at any time
- Right to erasure: You can delete your account at any time
- Right to data portability: Our export feature supports this
